Although it is tempting to write about the Detroit-Washington contretemps, having spent the better part of the past couple weeks in frantic email and face-to-face debates and less-civilized forms of discourse, I figure I should give it a break.  As we are closing in on the holiday season, I have selected another topic.  Travel.  And as this is a business-oriented commentary, I figure that I should at the very least start with the vocational undertaking that many people experience.

According to a poll conducted by market research firm Ipsos, 37% of all business travelers who had planned to travel during the remaining couple weeks of the year have made a change.
