Scott Anderson’s first car was 1970 Volkswagen Beetle and his first computer was a 1984 Apple Macintosh 128K. Ever since, he’s been on a quest to find an automotive or computer experience just as zen-like.
Scott started off in journalism career at the Midland Daily News covering the Dow Chemical Co. and Dow Corning, which went into bankruptcy a week later under the weight of thousands of silicone-breast implant lawsuits. He moved to the Ann Arbor News, where he was the tech reporter during the heady days of the dotcom boom (and bust).
Realizing that cars and computers were quickly fusing into one, he took a job at Ward’s Communications covering General Motors. After a stint at an interactive marketing agency, Anderson returned to journalism as an associate editor with AD&P in November 2008, where he covers the industry with close attention to electronics and new technologies.
