Polyurethane Resin for Composite Parts

A polyurethane-based composite matrix material, which features greater flexibility and higher impact resistance than traditional epoxy resins, is now offered by Henkel.

A polyurethane-based composite matrix material, which features greater flexibility and higher impact resistance than traditional epoxy resins, is now offered by Henkel. This material, Loctite MAX2, is designed to be used in the resin transfer molding (RTM) process, where it cures faster and offers more efficient fiber impregnation during injection for higher throughput than epoxy resins typically used in RTM.
